Horseshoe Bay Tour

We only offer this alternate itinerary cruise during peak summer periods....

Departing from the Granite Island Causeway, a scenic cruise takes you along the northern side of Granite Island past the Horse Tram route & historic Screw-pile Jetty, around the breakwater into the open ocean. At Pullen Island, Long Nosed Fur seals & Australian Sea Lions can be seen basking in the sun & often swim to the stationary boat to have a good look at the passengers! Seabirds including petrels, shearwaters and cormorants can be seen. Cruise into Horseshoe Bay and hear about the early maritime history, shipwrecks & the first railway in Australia. Cruising back to the Causeway we follow Victor Harbor's coastline past Oliver's' Reef & Chiton Rocks where Bottlenose dolphins are also often seen in the vicinity and sometimes race the boat.
